A young baseball player can correct most of his or her poor batting habits with a specific hitting exercise. Baseball Coaching Tips’ Jack Perconte describes the steps of the exercise with text and illustrations. The general procedure involves using a ball on a batting tee. Starting from the correct stance, the player practices hitting the stationary ball by moving the shoulders, hips, and arms in the proper order.
