Stabilization Drills in Baseball was hosted by Joe Francisco, a former player for Atlanta Braves. A key component of the drills was keeping the body in a straight line. The focus of this position gives the batter good control. In the drill the person batting should get on one knee and focus on the vertical line of his body. With he hit the batter should be careful of over-rotation. The drill continues with the batter changing arms and knees quickly. Further drills include switching from the one knee down position to an athletic standing position when batting. The final drill has the batter pop up quickly from the position on one knee to the athletic position while continuing to focus on keeping his body in a straight vertical line.
